A map of repeating behavior

Spiral winds each period through one turn of a descending helix, so groups align on straight vertical rails — an echo of de Chancourtois' 1862 telluric screw, the first periodic system. Table restores the familiar group structure. Shells arranges periods as concentric rings—a structural metaphor, not a literal Bohr model. Sphere maps periods onto latitude bands, with separate f-series belts and distinct main-group arcs. The glowing wire traces atomic number, and its pulse travels from hydrogen to oganesson.

Visual scale is interpretive. Atomic models are schematic: nuclei are enlarged, distances are not to scale, and electron clouds are qualitative orbital-family shapes. Representative natural isotopes use NIST isotopic-composition data; elements without natural abundance use IUPAC’s bracketed nuclide. This visualization uses the traditional La/Ac group-3 convention; Lu and Lr remain in the f-series. Atomic weights follow CIAAW 2024 abridged values. Bracketed values follow IUPAC’s periodic-table convention.
